Top Dog Awards
We give a Top Dog award for all levels (Into-Elite) at the Hot Diggity Dogs Trials!
We consider stamina an important quality in the Top Dog, and so to be eligible to win, your dog must be entered in the entire trial, including the xtreme games classes. If you have entered every class (regardless of whether you have Q'd in each class), you will be entered to win Top Dog at the level of Regular Agility you have entered. If you and your dog have previously Q'd in a higher level of regular agility at a Hot Diggity Dogs trial, you will not be eligible to compete for top dog.
Intro Q's will count for 5 points towards Top Dog, Novice Q's will be 10, Open Q's count as 15, and Elite Q's are worth 20 points. The eligible dog with the most points in their category wins!
Burnt Lake StablesBurnt Lake Stables offers a heated, covered sand arena. Alberta weather is very unpredictable so it's best to come prepared for anything! Camping without hookups is available onsite. This is an active stable, so the usual common sense rules apply to its use. Dogs must be kept away from horses, and should be on leash unless they are in the ring. Our club is pleased to offer complimentary coffee, muffins and yogurt! |
